Chiefs Hut ....
A nice chiefs hut added to the scenics ...
this is the J G Miniatures large Zulu hut (code N11), a lovely model. Perhaps a tad high as really for use with larger figures, but looks the part.

Supplies to Ninguni (4) - convoy attacked ...
The convoy left the Saluzi oasis and headed off skirting the edges of the sandy areas.....
The tribesman had cut across the desert area and gathered more men, they waited for the convoy in a rocky area....
the way through is blocked, a possible rock fall. The convoy escort take up positions while a way round is considered ...
The tribesmen prepare to spring their trap ....
Meanwhile at the fort near Ninguni, a few tribesmen get into range and start some random sniping fire at the defenders...
as two of the lorries got clear the other got stuck in the sand ....
the tribesmen close in on the stranded lorry ....
as the other two lorries move off as fast as they can over the uneven ground ...
the tribesmen capture the stranded lorry, their leader looks to see where the rest of the convoy went ....
the rest of the convoy is moving away ...
the tribesmen set the captured lorry on fire after removing what they want ...
after some time the convoy arrives near the fort ....
and start to unload the supplies ....
the leader of the tribesmen watches the unloading of supplies
the convoy continue onwards entering the rocky area ....

As the convoy leader considered back-tracking and using an alternate route, a flurry of shots from hidden tribesmen whizzed through the air -"Its a trap".....
The convoy managed to reverse backwards, losing men from its escort ....
the tribesman disappear into the desert, perhaps another time they could attack the fort - they will have to gather more men...... the fort is safe for now.....

Supplies to Ninguni (3), to the Saluzi Oasis....
The convoy left Sidi el Bunzi and skirted the edge of the dune sea ...
onwards it went passing through some rocky terrain ....
reaching the Saluzi oasis....
....they had been followed cautiously by the lone tribesman ..... who studied their camp, counting how many men they had ....

Supplies to Ninguni (2), stopping for water ...
A couple of hours out from Fabruzi, the convoy is making good progress, a local tribesman watches it pass....

Supplies to Ninguni (1) - the convoy leaves ...
In the southern part of the Sultanate of Nambuzo on the edge of the Sarangi desert at Ninguni the old fort has been refurbished and is garrisoned by german colonial troops.

The small settlement at Ninguni and the fort ...
In the fort, the officer in charge is discussing supplies with his second in command, there is enough for a few days, the next supply convoy is due in a day's time....

Meanwhile at Fabruzi, the supply column leaves for Ninguni ....
