Attack on Kalamazoo ...

The small trading post at Kalamazoo has been attacked by the the local native tribe, two women travellers (one english, one french) were captured and taken back to their village.

Survivors of the attack on Kalamazoo escaped down river and informed the authorities.  A small expedition to rescue the women was hurriedly put together consisting of a british naval landing party, volunteers, armed colonial police and detachment of french colonial troops.
