Cairo Airport - the authorities try to intercept the pyramidion....

The Rule of Six have taken the pyramidion off the Stealers at the rail yard; and after a quick short hop flight from nearby improvised airfield in the desert will be landing at Cairo Airport. An informant has notified the authorities about the arrival of the unscheduled flight and they will attempt to intercept the flight when it arrives to seize the pyramidion.

 All quiet at the airfield, a man watches for the plane ...

At a hangar, agents from the Rule of Six await the plane as well....

A lorry and van arrive at the airfield ....

As the lorry and van head up to the hangar, armed Egyptian police make their move ....

As the plane arrives, a detachment of British troops move into position as it taxis towards the hangar ...

The lorry and van are in position as the plane approaches the hangar ....

the plane taxis into position and cuts its engines, men get out and prepare to load the lorry; Egyptian police are making their approach and are by the hangar ...

The crate is unloaded from the plane ....

Just as the crate had been loaded onto the lorry, the Egyptian police make their move - in response member of Mu Fanchu's Tong move out of their hiding place in the hangar

and move straight for the Egyptian police .... 

While the Tong and other agents of the Rule of Six hold off the Egyptian police the rest get the loaded lorry away ....

The British troops start moving towards the hangar ....

The Tong are getting bogged down in their fight with the Egyptian police ...

The van and the lorry are on their way down the road behind the hangar ....

A shot from one of the Egyptian police kills the lorry driver as it passes by,  the lorry swerves off the road ...

Meanwhile the British troops are closing in ....

A British officer fights for control of the lorry ....

He holds off his attacker; some British troops in their lorry come down the road and are met with a hail of fire for the Rule of Six agents...

The British officer loses his fight to control the lorry, the Rule of Six have it again and are moving off down the road...

They start down the road to leave the airfield....

The British troops are back on the move but too late to catch them ....

The Rule of Six agents and the surviving Tong successfully leave the airfield with the pyramidion ...

As the Rule of Six got away with the pyramidion, Kit Campion and Captain Pollock (who had been watching proceedings) ran to their car - perhaps they could follow them ....

The lorry and van headed north; Kit Campion drove at breakneck speed to catch them up - they were nowhere to be seen, as they passed a small settlement - they caught sight of them. 

Kit Campion slowed down and kept back just in sight so they could follow them ... they looked like they were heading to Port Said..

The Pyramidion - What happens next ??

Trying to get a basic concept of how things could play out and give some idea of locations for future games for the control of the Pyramidion of Senusret

• Goodies: The Authorities - Adventurers, Police, Archaeologists, Army, etc
• Baddies : Agents of the Rule of Six,  Antiquities Stealers...

The artifact has been found by the archaeologists and the sequence got started with a three way game at the dig site - the Stealers getting the pyramidion; followed by RuleOfSix taking it off them at the Railyard. 

The diagram below is a sketch out of the main flow options; the Authorities could get it back at the airfield or the port and take it to the museum ...... etc (just not enough room in the digram for all the arrows 😖  ) 

I've drafted the sequence of events for the Prof in Trouble series of games; if time I may put this into a PDF with game narrative.

At Al Kedir : I'll have that pyramidion...

The antiquities dealer informs the local police that his shipment will arrive early this morning for loading onto the first train out; the shipment is to be guarded by an armed escort due to its value.

The crew chat before they prepare the engine ...

A man watches the goods yard from a roof-top..

Waiting for a signal from the man on the roof-top, agents from the 'Rule of Six', among them are the maleficent seven.

In Al Kedir the antiquities shipment, the pyramidion of Senusret I,  has arrived by lorry and is making its way into the goods yard ...

As it arrives, the man on the roof top makes the ready signal and the agents of the 'rule of six' move up..

The crate is unloaded from the lorry while armed guards stands ready ....

As they start loading the crate into the train, a small lorry approaches and screeches to halt blocking the other entrance to the goods yard, another lorry blocks the line at the level crossing. 

A man opens fire from the roof top; soon others open fire and two of the antiquities armed guards are down ...

A gun battle erupts between the antiquities guards and the agents of the 'rule of six';  the loco moves off to try and clear the line (they may be able to get the train away ...)

The loco runs off down the track and pushes the lorry out of the way ....

it then runs back up and halts to change the points, the fireman jumps out under fire from the adjoining roof-top

The agents of the 'rule of six' have got the edge and are moving forward to try and take control of the loading dock...

The fireman had managed to change the points; as the engine moves slowly forward the driver realises the waiting train is now under the control of the attacking group of armed men; besides his fireman has been captured - he stops the engine.

the remaining antiquities guards run for safety as the 'rule of six' agents secure the area round the loading bay....

With the area secure they prepare to unload the crate containing the pyramidion from the train..

The crate is transferred to a lorry ...

and then they start to move off; a few shots are exchanged with some armed police as they get away

An hours drive later and they arrive at a makeshift airfield...

the crate is loaded into the plane and it takes off to a secret destination, the pyramidion is now in the hands of the 'rule of six' .

It is dusk and still no sign of the daily finds lorry. With the pyramidion packed and under guard, Diana Jones checks in with the armed guards. Most of the diggers are just about to go home - a couple will stay to help guard the site.

The agents of the 'rule of 6', approach the dig site ...

The antiquities robbers move up behind the temple ...

The  'rule of 6' agents move fast and take out the sentries by the dig building.. a couple of them open fire on the diggers...

The diggers react, opening fire - hitting one of the interlopers...

Meanwhile the antiquities robbers are quietly moving round and up into the temple ...

The  'rule of 6' agents move fast and come up behind the diggers guns blazing ......

the antiquities robbers make their move, over the low ruined wall and up to the crate holding the pyramidion; Diana Jones comes to help the guard.. shots are fired ...

Diana Jones and Reg Butler find themselves in a crossfire, the rest of diggers and guards are all down

Diana and Reg make a hasty retreat to the top of a low sand dune as a gun battle starts between the antiquities robbers and the 'Rule of 6' agents..

the antiquities robbers get ready to load the crate onto the their lorry ...

Dian and Reg, take pot shots from the top of the dune taking out a couple of the opposition...

The gun battle peters out, the antiquities robbers have won and have got the crate on the truck; Diana and Reg fire on them as they slowly move away ...

the antiquities robbers move away at speed ...

and are soon off down the road ....

Diana and Reg now open fire on the remaining 'Rule of Six' agents who are now beating a hasty retreat into the desert...

Diana and Reg make their way to the dig site to check how everybody is, most are badly wounded - a couple just knocked out; they go up to Sid al Bunzi to get help.   The pyramidion is gone, at least they have the photographs of it and rubbings of the inscriptions to study.....

Game mechanics ...

with 3+ parties involved, used playing cards for initiative/action

Spades - the archaeologists and their guards

Diamonds - Rule of Six agents

Hearts - Antiquities stealers

Clubs - diggers and civilians

on card activation party moves fire and start combat; other parties can turn/defend themselves and return fire but not move. A run of cards gives advantage to one side, but can act against them if another run of a different suit comes up.  In the game the Antiquities stealers got the better cards..
